At Nordic Song Festival 2023, we enjoyed concerts, masterclasses and lectures with exciting artists, lecturers, and educators, who are all passionate about the Nordic song treasure. And we are doing it again in 2024!

Artistic director and founder of the festival
Nordic Song Festivals grundades 2014 och har som vision att utveckla, sprida och vårda den nordiska
kultur- och visskatten. Varje år i augusti hålls festivalen i och omkring Trollhättan och bjuder på såväl
konserter, föreläsningar som master classes. Här finns möjligheter för den som vill utvecklas inom sång
och komposition. Men också för den som bara vill njuta och lyssna till underbar musik och sång. Nordic
Song Festival är en festival för alla.
Initiativtagare och konstnärlig ledare för Nordic Song Festival är den svensk-danska sopranen
Gitta-Maria Sjöberg. Gitta-Maria har en imponerande karriär både på Operan i Köpenhamn och på den
internationella operascenen. Hon har i hela sitt liv haft en passion för den nordiska sången och utvecklat
både festivalens visioner och konstnärliga innehåll.
