European Festival - Ukrainian Spring

The war and Ukraine’s struggle for its existence continues. The stated goal of Russia’s aggression is to wipe out the Ukrainian nation, its identity and culture. Ukraine does not exist at all, according to the Kremlin.

The reports of abducted children, torture and murder of civilians, bombing of hospitals, schools and infrastructure, along with images of destroyed Ukrainian cities, arouse feelings of despair and powerlessness in many of us. One way to show our support for Ukraine, which is just as significant, is to see and listen. To open our minds to the Ukrainian identity and culture that people are currently dying in their thousands to defend.

In April 2025, the third edition of the European Festival: Ukrainian Spring will begin. We will explore new perspectives on Ukraine’s integral place within the European cultural heritage and highlight this connection.
