Tommie Haglund Festival

Let yourself be swept away by the music during a few spring days in Halmstad and Falkenberg, when the Tommie Haglund Festival finally returns.

With a South American visit by the Orquesta Filarmonica de Bogota and some of the most skilled vocal and instrumental soloists of our time, we dare to promise world-class music. In addition, there will be workshops for Halland's young musicians, panel discussions and the release of the book 'The Endlessness of the Moment', about the life and work of Tommie Haglund.

The concert program for the days spans several centuries of music in addition to Tommie Haglund's own. Mozart, Rameau and Delius have, along with others, influenced Tommie Haglund throughout his life. We will hear some of their works performed by both our international guests and local musicians and choirs. In addition, 'Making Something out of Nothing' will be premiered - a unique, cross-border collaboration between Per Gessle and Tommie Haglund.
